Honda’s Prologue electric SUV stands a strong chance against established mainstays such as Hyundai Ioniq 5, Ford Mustang Mach-E and Tesla Model Y in an already competitive EV SUV market. Honda calls their innovative battery and motor platform “e:architecture.”
The Prologue’s designers created an elegant yet rugged appearance with its clean lines and planted stance. It boasts a spacious interior and measures 8-inches longer and 5-inches wider than its rival CR-V.
Honda expects the Prologue to reach an Environmental Protection Agency range of 300 miles on a single charge, offering a digital driver information display and 11.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration, voice control via Google Assistant voice activation, over-the-air updates and over-seat ventilation on Elite models. Honda Sensing safety technologies will also come standard.

4. Volkswagen ID. Buzz
VW’s latest addition to their electric ID lineup, the Buzz, stands out with its eye-catching design. Boasting LED headlights with daytime running lights and an attractive slim lateral bar between them – as well as featuring one of their largest VW logos ever on production cars – this vehicle stands out.
In Europe, the two-row rear-wheel drive Buzz uses an 82 kWh battery pack (77 usable) to power its rear motor which outputs 201 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. A dual motor all-wheel drive version with 330 horsepower is also available.
Every Buzz comes equipped with standard amenities, such as 30-color ambient interior lighting, keyless entry and climate control systems as well as active safety tech that includes Level 2 highway assist for hands-free operation. However, unlike its predecessor, this Buzz does not allow passengers to ride for an additional fee.
